Victory

Johnny WON his Fight on Friday at the Mackay Events Center! His fight was very FIRST and even though the Throwdown people were completely disorganized, Johnny got a Victory!! Triangle Choke in the first round :) We're so proud of your hard work and your mad skillz Johnny!
I was too wrapped up in the fight to remember to take pics of Johnny in action, but take it from me he looked GOOD, real good!

Coolest Playground

Last Weekend Johnny and I stopped at this awesome playground by our house to eat our lunch. Is this not the COOLEST elementary school playground EVER? I had to post because I secretly want to go back and play longer.

They have THIS thing....it's soo cool.

But, PLEASE somebody explain this death slide to me? Is this thing for REAL? I dunno, But I like it.

Throwdown II

Johnny is fighting once again in the Throwdown II MMA fights at the Mackay Events Center Sept. 26th! This is Johnny's 3rd professional MMA fight. If you all remember back in April he was Fighting in the Throwdown I fight and just before Johnny's match his opponents' drug test results came back positive, so the other fighter had to forfeit. What a bummer that was. All that training, starving, and mental preparedness to go without fighting...lame. So needless to say we're stoked to have him back in the octagon with a fight this time around. He REALLY enjoys this MMA fighting so I say...Hoorah, carry on! "ROAAR" a day at the Zoo.

We went to the ZOO this past weekend with our friends Jess, Paul and Cohen. Olivia ESPECIALLY loved it this time and was saying "ROAAR" everywhere we went. It was awesome to have Johnny come with us, we LOVE when he's got spare time! We had such a blast and oh, man what a nice day it was. :) Here are some of my Faves of the day: Olivia Waving to the penguins (she loved them)

One & Only Puddle

Olivia, my want-to-be-fish, found the one and only puddle around today, I turned around for a second and when I turned back this is what I saw:

Pure Elation! A Puddle! Never mind that she was fully clothed, just socks on...I love kids. If only adults could be more like kids; Give up their inhibitions and jump into the water will all of their clothes on, spill on themselves and not care, get food all over their faces and in their hair--whatev, it tasted good right? (ok that may be a bit much) I just love how kids are such a great reminder to have fun and enjoy the small stuff!

Here is a lesson on how dishes are super fun to wash by hand, all the bubbles and water, can't get much better than that. Thanks, Olivia. What a great deal of help she is, I can't wait until she can mow the lawn!

Bones Bikes Commercial!

Johnny, Ben and CJ did a commercial for their Bones Bikes that will be airing on Comcast. Johnny's buddy Brandon has a TV show on Comcast for his gym Mushin, they show different techniques and tricks for MMA fighting, well Johnny and his bro got a spot of time during Brandon's show for their Bones cruiser/motor bikes! The bikes have been a hit and people are going crazy over them, they are soo fun to ride and I would recommend one for anyone! I'll be letting everyone know when the commercial airs, just in case you'd like to check it out!

The Miracle of Moringa

Warning: I know it's long, just read it.
If you knew me well you would know that when I find something I love and can't live without, I tend to do my own version of an infomercial on that product, and then encourage everyone to buy it too (not necessarily on purpose, it just happens). My sister Leanna is also extremely health conscious and is into whole, live, fresh and sprouted nutrition.
