Fall is Fun!

Today I realized for the first time in many years, that FALL IS FUN! In the past 'many' years I've seen fall as a nice change in temperature but otherwise kind of a bummer because summer is over. I DO love the first snow fall, all of the happenings of the season and the winter sports...but still, summer is over and here comes the unrelenting doom and gloom. Thanks to my adorable nieces and the little neighbor girl, today I re-learned that fall is so much fun! Olivia has also taught me that everything can be exciting and worth doing, even the chores. Here are some pics from our fun day raking and playing in the leaves.

Face Paint

Olivia had another fun day with Avery and Mistie...and everyone else, while I was at work today. If I knew it was going to be a partay I would've chose the party over work any day! (That's probably why no one told me :) Anyways Mistie was generous enough to brave two 1-year-olds and not only that but fight crowds at a Halloween Carnival/Petting Zoo with them too! Amazing. They met up with Lynly and Rylee and Katie and Jack for a fun-filled day at Thanksgiving Point. The kids got their faces painted, tattoos, animal balloons, horse rides, carriage rides, did a little craft and ate lunch too. They had a blast. I am thankful to Mistie for taking such good care of my little Cling-on Spider Monkey of a child and introducing her to her first clown! Thanks also to Lynly and Katie for helping keep track of all the children and making sure the mother-less one stayed among the pack!
Aren't they all SO cute? Avery, Livi, Ry, and Jack all of them 1 and within 4 months of age! (Lucky Jack)

Scary Clowns and Tattoos...what's better than that??

Awesome Blogger Alert!

I just have to give a giant shout-out to our good Pals Dan and Jenny. Although they've been put through the junkmill with all of their crazy adventures in the past couple, they are two of the coolest, cleverist, most optimistical people I know. :o) They view everything as a good time and a grand adventure as long as they're together as a family with their two beautiful girls. I am posting this bizarre paragraph to give a high-ho to Dan's spontaneity, incredibly quick-witted and sporadically profound writing skillz. His weekly posts crack me up to the core, I always find myself laughing from the inside/out. You might stumble on me trying to "sell" his posts by making others read with me what he's wrote, well...written. He's so clever, the read is worth 10x's it's length! Check them out for a good dose of awesomeness!

Ready for another adventure with you two...something like our night at skullcrack, torrential downpour, the unbelievably close call to lighting strike, village inn grub at 4am in our mud stiff clothes, the usual. Good Times.

Our lil' Fighter Girl

I've been getting more and more excited as Olivia is growing up, excited about putting her in lessons of sorts and watching her perform her acquired skills. Olivia has always been known to JAM out and DANCE around whenever and wherever there are tunes on. She immediately zones out and only pays attention to the music and her dancing abilities. So we've decided Dance lessons are a given. What else? Soccer? OK, soccer is something I wish I would have had a go with...something about my brain telling me my legs are getting tangled and twisted up when I try to run and kick a ball at the same time, if there is any way to avoid this then it's worth the lessons. Also, Soccer chicks always have such GREAT legs, and good endurance. Soccer...Check. Next on my list, and on the top of Johnny's, Martial Arts. Our lil' fighter girl, can't wait. It is pretty cute when you see little tykes in their tiny Gi's doing kicks and karate chops. Our good friend Barton bought the cutest little toddler GI for Livi when she was a Baby and it making it's debut today! Thanks Barton :)

Don't want her to grow up, but can't wait either!
