Goodbye For Now...

I am getting a bit anxious and nervous knowing that in ONE day we'll be leaving Olivia for almost TWO weeks. *tear* I am going to miss this little stinker ROYALY!! She has been too cute for words (hense the pictures) and she makes me laugh everyday. She is getting the sweetest, most adorable and biggest personality you've ever seen. We are really going to miss Olivia while we are gone on our trip, but I think once we get to paradise i'll be okay! ; ) Thank you Mom, Tami and Annie for taking care of Olivia while we're gone and for loving her like we do!
Wish we could pack you in our suit case too, Livi!
LOVE YOU

Let Them Play!

Sassy Blue

We got our pics taken from this awesome girl, Sara Boulter. It was a lot of fun working with Sara, she did a fantastic job and was really easy to work with! Olivia did the usual "not impressed" look most of the time even while I put her pants on my head and did some crazy dances to try to make her smile! She did however have an absolute blast collecting rocks, waving "hello" to passersby and running away from the backdrops we put her in front of! I love her.
Wanna see a tiny sneak peak??

It's A Bike? It's A Motorcycle? It's A Motorized Bicycle?

Johnny and his Dad are going to start selling these awesome kits. This is Johnny's beach cruiser, he found this kit where you can mount a tiny motor and a tiny gas tank and other necessary parts to make your bike motorized! It's wicked! It is SO fun to ride and makes those hard to pedal hills a BREEZE. ha ha You can pedal like a regular bike or use the engine. They also make Hybrid electric ones.If you already have a bike to mount it on you can just buy engine and parts, if not you can buy the whole shebang: bike with engine, and they have all sorts of styles and types. Check out this LINK Find a bike you love and Johnny can get it for you! He is going to start selling these locally! Let me know if you want one, and we can start a bicycle gang! :)

HAWAII...Here We Come!

It's true we're going to Hawaii. Funny story is that we're supposed to be going to Canada for Johnny's High School Reunion. While investigating plane tickets we found that flying to Hawaii was $100 bucks cheaper than Canada? Weird. Okay so let's see, 100 dollas less...Hawaii, Middle of Alberta...Canada, Hawaii, Canada, Hawaii, Canada...HAWAII here we come. We're staying for a glorious 11 days! We'll miss all of you especially little Olivia.

A Little Blurb

Avery,
I hope you still have most of these:
After your little tummy bug, that made you so sick.
Hope you're feeling better.

And Rylee:
No worries:
This is made for peanuts like you!

Race For The Cure

Last Saturday we did "Race For The Cure" for breast cancer. My cousin Heather found out she had breast cancer about two months ago, so I thought it would be nice to start a team in her honor. Our Team name for the race was "Good Weather For Heather" we had about 17 people join and come walk or run the race with us! There were about 17,000 people who did the race it was crowded to say the least and really hard to run with a jogger while trying to dodge everyone in the crowd, but it was a Great time to say the least. It was about the third time i've seen Johnny awake that early in the a.m. and I loved it, Thanks Race For The Cure!

We rode the train downtown, Olivia's first experience with TRAX~ she loved it!

Here is part of our group. I lost the rest of my family and Heather at the start, the crowd swallowed them up.

Me and Duane after the race, watching for those cheaters (you know who you are).
Di--can you find the orb in this photo? creepy.

Signs of SUMMER

Today Livi and I met up with some good friends and went SWIMMING. We love swimming :) Here are some pics from our fun day:

Cute Avery cheesin' it!

Unfortunately we didn't get to splish splash with Lynly & Rylee today. Ry is adorable, tiny, and totally independent. Today she fell and got a pretty good gash on her head at the pool just before Olivia and I arrived. She had to go get stiches instead of play :( Poor Rylee, we love you, get feeling better soon :)

Bicycle Built For Two

Would you call this Tandem?
Most of you may wonder, but let me reassure you, that I did most the work! :)
For Olivia's birthday Uncle Ambrose and Aunt Jess gave her thee coolest little bike seat! It's called a wee-ride and it hooks onto any bicycle, we hooked it onto my beach cruiser and have been having a crazy FUN time cruising around town ever since! Olivia is in PURE heaven when we go on rides. Sunday we rode down Provo canyon on a paved trail with Johnny's family, Olivia was sure to say "Hi" to everyone who passed, it was the cutest thing. I don't know what's more adorable, her strapped into her tiny little seat or the GIANT baby helmet that makes her head look gargantuous?! Either way it's got to be one of the coolest presents ever!
Thanks Jess and Ambrose

Another Shot, Another Sucker

Olivia's One year check-up was a breeze! She's healthy and happy, just the way we like it! All of the other Mom's with 1 year old's might be wondering...her new stats are; Weight: 18 lbs 12 oz (12%), Height: 28.8 in (33%), Head: 44.5 cm (31%~up from the 5% at birth...I love her tiny head). She's a little peanut, wonder where she gets that from? :) Olivia had her last bottle today on the way to the doctor's office (little did she know) it's sippy cups from here on out! Nap time has been a bit of a struggle without the bottle but we're only on day two, she'll get used to it right? (The Binki is another story, not excited to tear her away from that precious thing, any suggestions?) Along with no more bottles Livi is now in a forward facing car-seat and LOVING every minute, and looking so grown up! Johnny and I LOVE it too, now we can see her and talk to her better than before! She loves to point out the window and sing along to Johnny's music, and she likes to say "ooo" (like "Moo") when she sees her car seat! She has an entourage of new words she's says, they include: Kiya (and she says it well), Hi, Blankie, Wow, Auh-oh, Ma-ma, Dad.

Olivia's Shots get more and more sad as she gets older. She wonders why I hold her down while a scary lady stabs a sharp stick into her skin not only once but THREE times, ouch! Although it's sad I'm not one of those emotional Mom's who cry and can't stand it...I giggle a little and realize it will be over soon, it's good for her right? I just give her lots and lots of kisses when it's over and the sucker at the end makes it ALL okay!!
Here are some cute vids of a usual day with Oliv, just toddling around and being adorable!

Okay Mistie and Lynly I know Olivia may not match and looks somewhat like a little boy, but come on she still is one of thee (3) cutest babies on the block!:)

Birthday Madness

HAPPY BIRTHDAY OLIVIA #1!
Livi in her b-day crown Opening super sweet gifts! Thanks everyone :)

Olivia's party was a blast! We had over 40 people come and play with us and even got a killer volleyball tourney going out back! Lots of family and friends came to play and eat, over all we had a FANTASTIC time! I'm not sure who had more fun though the adults or the kiddos!

The cake eating was funny! Olivia got her foot into the cake right from the get-go! She couldn't resist getting her toes and eventually her whole leg into the frosting. She was pretty serious when it came to eating the cake and ice cream, pure concentration! She was mostly happy to play in the frosting for a good 1/2 hour which ended up staining her nose and rt leg neon pink! We gave her spoons so she'd dig right into the cake (great idea Sam) she LOVES to eat anything with a utensil! The spoons where a total hit and she even decided to share with Johnny towards the end!

WOW! I can't believe it's been a year, Happy Birthday Monkey!
