Minneapolis Extravamaganza!

I had the opportunity to fly out to Minneapolis, Minnesota to visit my BFF/Cousin Debra and her husband Ryan for a few days this month! I had such a blast with them and loved, loved, loved Minneapolis! Thanks Deb-again, for entertaining me for the weekend and letting me stay! Over the weekend we had so much fun! It started with us running the Gopher to Badger Half Marathon together. Besides the two mile asthma attack and the downpour at the start...it was amazing! We got to run along side the St. Croix river and the last two or so miles we ran over the river and ended in Hudson, WI. MAN, was it BEAUTIFUL. I decided while there that I am completely GREEN DEPRIVED!!! I am IN LOVE with all of the rivers, bridges, planter boxes, green, green, green! What a cool City~

Deb's Man Ryan ran the race "with" us...but finished 20 minutes before us! Deb stayed with me through the race, it was fun to have a running budy to race with!
Calhoun Lake

Kayaking on the lake was HEAVEN. I'd be out there every single day if I lived there.

Happy Campers

This last weekend was our first weekend without Cj and Di...we needed to do something awesome so it wouldn't feel so lonely without them! :) We went on a Camp out up Payson Canyon! Olivia had sooo much fun and got so dirty she looked like a little black kid! We didn't encounter any bears but we did have a bazillion cattle around us. We set up camp in an area that they are used to walking through so they would stand at the edge of our camp and just "MOOOOOOOO". Luckily the Dogs were with us and were in pure elation to be able to chase the cattle out of sight! Everyone had so much fun! We even cooked our own breakfast, something we are going to have to get used to with CJ not around! :) haha. Olivia loved sleeping in the tent and getting super dirty. She also loved eating s'mores and playing with her friends 24/7. She also successfully did several #1's and #2's in the woods while we were there, and thought she was pretty cool because of it! Geesh Potty training is a breeze in the woods!

The ladies (why does Melina look like a supermodel and we look like we are dying. Maybe it is the ray of sunshine that is only shining on her, and we are in her shadow.....God loves her.
Olivia LOVED playing with Sam. This little girl was in fact ONLY 2 weeks older than Liv...Either Olive is Tiny or Sam is Gigantic??!
They were so cute playing together!
